Midwest Plastic Components Purchases New High Speed HAAS Milling Machine

Midwest Plastic Components (MPC) recently installed into production a new high speed HAAS VF-2 milling machine. Tim Sahli, Department Supervisor was qouted, " this new machine expands our capability offering to our customers and significantly improves throughput and efficiency in the CNC department". MPC expands capacity with purhcase of new 500 Ton Demag

"This machine was purchased to expand our exisitng capacity in the 500 ton range and meet the needs of new medical programs the company recently won", Doug Johnson SVP of Operations was qouted.

Midwest Plastic Components engineers obtain Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Midwest Plastic Components is proud to annouce that two engineers recently obtained their Black Belt Six Sigma certification. Both engineers completed an 18 week training program conducted by University of St. Thomas. They learned Six Sigma tools and methods, which culminated with completion of their individual six sigma projects. MPC Offers New Coining Capability for 2006

After 3 years of development, Midwest Plastic Components is proud to offer coining capability in-house. Coining, also known as Injection-Compression Molding, is currently being utilized at MPC to produce optically clear domes for the security and surveillance markets. The technology allows parts to be produced virtually stress free with low image distortion, which was previously not possible with conventional molding techniques.
